Tariff for 2026, Longfield House and Cill a' Rubha

Rental is calculated pro-rata per calendar night, and for April through September there is normally a minimum stay of 7 nights unless to fill a gap. There is a discount of 10% for 14 nights or more throughout the season of CalMac summer ferry sailings (late March to late October), applicable to the full reservation. Rental includes all bedlinen and towels and any applicable taxes as on 25.10.25. There is no charge for a maximum of two well-behaved dogs. Guests are asked to read the meters for electricity and central heating oil on arrival and departure and afterwards to pay cost price per unit and litre consumed by cash, cheque or bank transfer.

Reservations for 2026 are firm after payment of the deposit; reservations for all future years are recorded on a provisional basis.

N.B. The discounted rate of 10% on 14 nights or more is from 27th March to 19th October and is applicable to the full reservation.

WINTER RATES for 2025/26; 2026/27 and 2027/28, Longfield House and Cill a' Rubha

We offer our Sabbatical rates during the winter timetable period as operated by CalMac Ferries Ltd, running from late October until late March each year. In winter we hope for stays of 14 nights or more, as best will fill any gaps, since for practical and operational reasons we need to minimise changeovers. Rental includes all bedlinen and towels and any applicable taxes as on 25.10.25. There is no charge for a maximum of two well-behaved dogs. Guests are asked to read the meters for electricity and central heating oil on arrival and departure and then to pay cost price per unit and litre consumed by cash or bank transfer.

Notes:

• Tariff changes after making a provisional or confirmed reservation: if there is any increase, the original quotation will be honoured save for anu unanticipated change in taxes, and any decrease will be applied to all pre-existing reservations.
• Cancellations: provisional reservations are happily accepted, but must be confirmed with a 25% deposit before December 14th of the previous year; any payment made before that date will be refunded in full in the event of cancellation. After that date, reservations become firm and are payable in full unless it becomes possible to re-let the accommodation. Every effort will be made to minimise the loss, including discounting, and any monies recouped will be refunded in full. We make no administrative charge, but we might fail to recover anything at all so please take out insurance or be aware that you have decided carry the risk.
• Insurance: please check the terms of your existing travel insurance, remembering that you depend upon "public transport" for the ferry crossing. • Ferries: There is a daily service from Oban in summer, and normally each Monday, Wednesday and Friday in winter. See www.calmac.co.uk/ (in Timetables, select Southern Hebrides).
